In this blog, I will reveal one of her beautiful aspects that you might miss if you do not know her enough, which is national parks. They running through the Mekong like guardians to protect and nurture her people for over hundred years. For those who love to be immersed in the wild, this list is for you.
Tram Chim National Park- Dong Thap Province
Being ranked 4th in the top national park of Vietnam, Tram Chim park covers an area of 7.313 ha of Dong Thap province, and it is a symbol of mangrove forests in the Mekong Delta. It is home to 130 floral and 198 kinds of birds which includes some rare endangered birds especially the Sarus crane that is addressed in the world Red list. Every year, people coming to visit the park to encounter these amazing birds in the flooding season.

Phu Quoc National Park- Phu Quoc island

U Minh Thuong National Park- Kien Giang province
Sitting on the southern side of Kien Giang province, U Minh Thượng has a vast number of old-growth forests than running through that home more than 243 species including rare animals such as fishing cat, pangolin, hairy-nosed otter, etc. However, the chance to see them is nearly zero due to illegal trading and deforestations. Despite it, it still worth visiting for anyone who loves the greenery and quiet atmosphere.
Today, U Minh Thuong National Park is being invested to serve as the research center to conserve rare and precious biological genes.

U Minh Ha National Park- Ca Mau province
Located 40km away from the city center, U Minh Ha is one of the parts of Ca Mau biosphere reserves. It just sits on the other side of U Minh Thuong, which is separated by a river!. To Vietnamese, U Minh Ha is a land of wild nature via works of Doan Gioi or Son Nam, famous writers about Mekong Delta land and people. Until now, the park may reveal a bit of its mystery to people but still keep its secret in the impenetrable forests.
